ABOUT
The Rock Project is the UK and Ireland’s Premier School of Rock and Pop.
We teach children between the ages of 7 and 18 guitar, bass, drums and vocals and give them the experience of practicing weekly in bands and performing live on stage. The Rock Project is a place for all young musicians whether they are a complete beginner or advanced and want performing experience.

A session consists of an hours lesson on the students instrument of choice, an hours ‘Plug n Play’ where they form bands, rehearse what they have learnt in lesson and work on their confidence, musicianship and technical skills, and we also have a Music Master quiz.
​
Our school year comes to a close with an End of Year Showcase Concert, this is a gig for families and friends of the students to come and see them perform on stage in bands. It’s a big event with food, lights, family after parties and more! We also have smaller gigs throughout the year.
After eight years using hired venues, in September-October 2018 we built our own venue, and in November 2018 we opened! It is equipped with six sound proof studio classrooms and a full sized stage for Plug n Play. It has a fantastic rock and roll atmosphere and with the stage lights and sound system, practices feel like the real deal, gigging on a stage! (Video tour coming soon!!)
All of our tutors have years of gigging, writing and recording experience including touring all of the UK & Europe, 3 EP’s and 6 Studio albums. They are passionate about music and teaching, ensuring the lessons are fun, upbeat and memorable. The Rock Project is unique, there is no experience like it.

Who:
We offer sessions to Juniors ages 7 - 11, and Seniors ages 11 - 18. (And adults! Check out our Encore page for more info!)
When:
Sessions run in conjunction with school term times, 39 weeks of the year on Saturday mornings.
Juniors: 9am - 11am
Seniors 11:15am - 1:15pm
Where:
Sessions are held at our venue, Unit 45 The Rock Project Telford, Ketley Business Park, Waterloo Rd, Telford, TF1 5JD.

A little bit about our beloved Franchisee, Gail....
​
Gail has been running Telford Rock Project since 2011. ​She is heavily involved, with family and friends, in the effort to ‘keep music live’ in her hometown and local community. She is a big supporter of a weekly open mic that encourages and supports young musicians and sees Telford Rock Project students performing on a regular basis.
​
Her daughter Remy started her musical career at Oswestry Rock Project at the age of 11 and now the multi-talented and accomplished performer is the vocal tutor, drum tutor and Manager of all the sessions.
​
Gail believes that music is the universal language and is proud to watch her students developing friendships, mentoring and encouraging each other, forming bands and generally growing into the Rock Stars of the next generation.
